My second Daily Deviation while I was in Iceland
The 12th September, I was in a hut in Landmannalaugar, Iceland for a photo workshop with alexandre-deschaumes (https://www.deviantart.com/alexandre-deschaumes) and XavierJamonet (https://www.deviantart.com/xavierjamonet). This day I got a second daily deviation. This photo has been made a morning on the Vercors High Plateau. I wanted to represent the wild wilderness of this place. I had a peaceful feeling while beeing out there making this photo.
Thanks to Eurekathebrave (https://www.deviantart.com/eurekathebrave) for the comment which inspire the Daily Deviation and Thanks Anoya (https://www.deviantart.com/anoya) for the selection.

My first Daily Deviation

It began to warm up on it yesterday evening as some group requested to include it in their gallery. This morning I discovered it among the Daily Deviations. It is one of my personal favorites because of the composition. I alway have difficulties to get composition like this with a telephoto lens. Also the title and the mood add something to the photo.
It has been done during a photo workshop with alexandre-deschaumes (https://www.deviantart.com/alexandre-deschaumes) in September 2010. The weather promised to be awful and, in fact, we get magical condition. A dark atmosphere under heavy cloudy sky at the evening and the next day morning, a wonderful light with snow and -10&
Upgrades...
Once again, there's been a while...
Well, this time I have some excuse. The weather this winter was not good. I had not much occasion for going shooting outside and I had other occupation in the real life. Spring is here and the good weather seems to be back.
Has you already noticed I upgraded my astrophotography setup. I abandoned my old cheap telescope "made in china". I'm now the proud owner of one of the best gear on the amateur astronomy market. It consist of a Takahashi FSQ-106ED refractor, 530mm focal length, F/5 aperture, a Takahashi EM-200 USD3 German equatorial mount. I still use the WO Zenithstar 66SD for autoguiding, piggy-back
