White Forest by ZeSly White Forest by ZeSly
Fresh snow in the Chartreuse forest above Le Chevalon de Voreppe.

First winter photo session after more than two month. At last ! The condition wasn't so good : the sky was entirely cloudy and the fog was to high to go shooting with it. But the pleasure was there, it's essential.

I absolutely love winter photographs- especially like how you captured this! The snow lining each branch, some just a hair- but others piled on.... And you captured a place that doesnt have any foot traffic which gives it a slight mysterious feeling- to me at least. The whole picture has a mysterious feeling to it, and there looks to be a pathway off to the left that just keeps going further and further back. The lighting is absolutely perfect, and the color that the trees add is just right. The small patches of shade left by the trees is great too :)
Great photo! Keep up the work :)

Bit plain, needs some kind of foreground subject to pull you into the forest. Also distortion lower left corner is a bit distracting. However the top half of the image is great, very sharp too!

Salut!
