Two Galaxies For a First Light

Description

You already know this two galaxies in Ursa Major as I already shot them a year ago :

Here is the very first light of my new astrophoto setup. Spring is coming and it is the galaxy season. M81 and M82 are easy to observe and one of the most interesting galaxy field in the northern sky. Hence my choice for a first light.

22 exposures of 10 minutes.
Camera : Canon EOS 1000D unfiltered
Telescope : Takahashi FSQ-106ED refractor.
Mount : Takahashi EM-200 USD3.
Guiding : Orion Starshoot Autoguider on a William Optic Zenithstar 66SD refractor.
Software : auto-guiding and acquisition with MaximDL, pre-processing with Iris, processing with photoshop.
Location : Clavan-le-Haut, Oisans, France.

Everything work well until I get low battery on my DSLR. It is so easy to guide with an EM-200 ! Focus could be better. FWHM = 3.2 pixel for the first frame and 3.8 for the last one. An FSQ-106 can do better. The processing is far from perfection. My flat-field is bad and I get a weird gradient on the sky background.
