Description
Álftavatn, Iceland, 3 o'clock in the morning, 100 km/h wind.
The storm announced two days ago is here. Road 1 was closed in the south of Iceland due to stones projected by the wind on cars, breaking windows.
3 o'clock, like every night I have to piss. Problem: the toilets are outside. So I have put five thick layers of clothing to go relieve myself. Since I must go outside, so take the camera and tripod. We never know.
The wind is strong and it's cold. But the sky is quite clear so I tried a few poses on the Milky Way and the strange glow in the north. Green glow. I have to rely on the tripod so it does not blow flies. The wind put sand in my eyes.
I felt really good here, alone. I did not want to go back inside.

What's up? Kevin 'The Skull' Anderson here, and I'm going to tell you how you did. Let's get down to it, shall we?
Vision: I can see the constellations and the skyscape and everything. This has great quality! Four and-a-half stars.
Originality: Since things like this only happen once, it is important to capture them when the time is right, and this is exactly what you did. Four and-a-half stars.
Technique: For me, it was right place, right time. You definitely chose the right night to take this picture. Four stars.
Impact: I'm impressed with this! It's got all the features you could want in a night photo. Four stars.
I encourage you to keep taking pictures. With more of these, things will start to fall in place.
